What drives the price, and what is already in it

A shared cabin starts at USD 300 per person for three days. A private charter starts at USD 5,300 per night for the whole boat. Everything between those two figures is a question of which vessel and how long.

There are two pricing models, not one. A shared cabin is priced per person. A private charter is priced per yacht per night, whether four of you take it or eighteen — which is why per-head cost falls sharply as the group grows.

The four ways to sail

Published starting prices

Figures below are the starting points. The final quote depends on the vessel, the season and the length of the route.

Day trip, shared

USD 90 per person. Speedboat, Padar and Pink Beach and Manta Point, back the same evening.

Day trip, private

USD 800 per boat. The same route with the speedboat to yourselves, at your own pace.

Shared cabin, 3D2N

From USD 300 per person. A cabin on a scheduled sailing, all meals and guide included.

Private charter

From USD 5,300 per yacht per night, or USD 5,900 for a wellness-equipped boat. Fleet-wide the range runs to USD 30,000.

What sits outside the rate

National park entrance and conservation fees run to around USD 40 per person and are charged on top of every package, shared or private. They go to the park, not to the operator.

Scuba dives are USD 50 to 80 each for certified divers. Snorkelling is included; tanks are not. Crew tips are discretionary, and 10 to 15% is the range guests are usually quoted.

Alcohol is billed on consumption, and on private charters you may bring your own. Spa treatments and private one-to-one sessions are quoted when you ask for them.

Payment

How and when it is paid

Standard terms. Anything unusual is agreed in writing before it applies.

    Written quote

    After the call, itemised. Nothing is charged at this point and the quote holds for a stated window.

  2. 02

    Deposit

    A deposit confirms the dates and takes the boat off the calendar for your window.

  3. 03

    Balance

    Due before departure, on a date set in the quote rather than sprung on you later.

  4. 04

    Changes

    Cancellation and amendment terms are tiered by how far out you are, and are in the quote you sign.

Ask for the cancellation tiers in writing before you pay a deposit. Any operator who will not put them in writing is telling you something.
